‘GLOBAL RE/MAX DAY’
The October 5 event will feature RE/MAX affiliates around the world supporting local communities through acts of service, fundraisers and volunteering.
Giving back is an integral part of RE/MAX culture. Throughout the year, affiliates support their communities through donations, acts of service and opportunities for gathering. And now, in its second year, RE/MAX agents, offices and teams can take part in Global RE/MAX Day, a day devoted to caring for others. This year’s Global RE/MAX Day will be held on Wednesday, October 5. Members of the RE/MAX network are invited to participate in the worldwide day of service, designed to give back to the communities in which they live and work. Need inspiration for this year’s event? On Global RE/MAX Day in 2021, affiliates on continents thousands of miles apart raised money for important causes like Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, volunteered at food banks, supported animal rescue missions, cleaned up their cities and towns, gathered supplies for those in need, and so much more. Despite the distance, the RE/MAX network shares in an important mission: having a positive impact on the lives of others. “RE/MAX affiliates find unique ways throughout the year to strengthen their own communities,” says Shawna Gilbert, RE/MAX Senior Vice President of Global Development. “Global RE/MAX Day is an opportunity to join in the camaraderie of the network, be creative, and give back to others. The turnout last year was remarkable, and we can’t wait to see all of the wonderful ways affiliates choose to support their communities this year.” On October 5, participants of Global RE/MAX Day are encouraged to share their activities on social media platforms by using the hashtag #GlobalREMAXDay. Making a difference in the lives of others has been a longstanding tradition at RE/MAX. Since 1992, the brand has partnered with CMN Hospitals to raise funds for children treated at pediatric hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. During the 30-year charitable partnership, RE/MAX affiliates have raised over $185 million to CMN Hospitals through the Miracle Home and Miracle Property Program, fundraisers, and more.
